A high aspect ratio allows for pets of all sizes to have easier access. It can be tall for big pets yet still be low to the ground for smaller pets. This also leaves more open viewing space in the exterior door. |

The flap uses a hinged top designed with a stainless steel rod and bushing system eliminating the flexing, cracking and tearing you get with a vinyl flap. The hinge durability was tested using a machine to open and close the flap a total of 3,000,000 times resulting in slight wear to the flap (yet it still sealed), while the hinge held up great. |
